Before contacting Doberman Rescue Minnesota about surrendering your doberman:
If you need to find a new home for your doberman first check with your breeder or previous owner of the doberman. Most responsible breeders will require that you return the doberman to them for the life of the doberman-please read your purchase contract for your dog. If you obtained the doberman from another person-please check with the other person to see if they want the dog back. This will save your time and our volunteers valuable time.
All our foster homes are dedicated to homeless dobermans. We can not foster dogs that are not surrendered for liability reasons. If your doberman needs short or long term fostering and you want the dog back, please contact a boarding facility.
